Hey there! My name is Emma, and I am the friendly face behind the camera. Allow me to tell you a bit about me! I began my photography career in 2019 where I decided to save up and purchase my first camera. This was a decision made based off of my passion for taking pictures of simple things like nature, flowers, landscapes, and the occasional portrait session for close friends and family. Once the Covid-19 Pandemic began, it put a pause in my aspirations to turn my casual photo taking into something more.

This leads me to June of 2024 where I decided I wanted to seriously pursue my passion for photography. This certainly wasn't an easy task but I was ready for the challenge. I began with creating a logo and an Instagram page to begin creating a brand. From there I went about rummaging through my old portfolio to find photos I wanted to post and represent not only my brand but photos that show my personal style as a photographer, as each and every photographer has their own.

And that brings me to where I am today! I am currently pursuing my career as a nurse while in full-time nursing school as well as working to build Portraits by Emma Elizabeth from the ground up. I could have never imagined that Portraits by Emma Elizabeth would grow into what it is now. I’m beyond grateful for the incredible love and support from my family, friends, and amazing clients—each of you has played a part in making this dream a reality.
